Le Riad

The Orient at the Heart of the Riad

The Riad is the perfect place to enjoy a generous traditional couscous with friends or family – but that’s not all! Here are the different versions: The Riad (lamb, chicken, kebab, merguez, kefta) for €29, The Meknassi (lamb or chicken with kefta or merguez) for €23.50, or The Traditional (lamb) for €21. There is something for every budget!

Although the Riad offers couscous, it also offers Tajines. The word refers both to the clay dish with a lid shaped like a hat and the cooking method of stewing.

Among the Tajines are the Olive Tajine (free-range chicken, olives, preserved lemon), Kefta Tajine with egg, Royal Tajine (royal bream “Mahkzen” style), or Lamb Tajine (prunes, almonds, cinnamon sauce). A multitude of recipes and flavors await you!

Still have room for something sweet? Great because the Riad offers a nice selection of desserts with unique flavors.

There’s the traditional “gourmet tea” (Riad tea served with two “gazelle horns” (oriental almond pastries)), Rais (lemon sorbet with Boukha), or Mogador (vanilla ice cream on Baghrir (pancake with a thousand holes) with Amlou sauce made from almonds, honey, and argan oil). Discover the rest on-site!

The restaurant’s décor is carefully done, with some references to the Orient, particularly in the door arches and the lanterns hanging on the wall.
