Le Bambi

Le Bambi: A Journey into West African Flavors

Located at 24 Rue Chanzy, just a few steps from the Reims Cathedral, Le Bambi is a true invitation to discover the rich culinary traditions of West Africa.

It is run by Mamadou Sacko, a Malian who has been living in France since 2013 and founded Le Bambi in honor of his mother from West Africa, who loved cooking.

The menu offers traditional dishes made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Among the must-tries are Mafé (beef or chicken simmered in a peanut sauce), Thieb (spiced rice served with fish or chicken), Yassa (chicken marinated in caramelized onions), and grilled specialties like Dibi, a West African specialty.

For dessert, do not miss the Thiakry, a dessert made with curdled milk and millet couscous.

To complete the experience, the restaurant offers typical drinks like Bissap juice (hibiscus) or ginger juice, which add a refreshing touch.

The simplicity of the decor enhances a friendly and relaxing atmosphere.
